What I learnt most and found most important was the goal setting, and the ideas book. Also the use of catch phrases, the use and the belief in what we are saying when you say "That would be the easiest part of my job" Remembering that you only need to take a few important words out of a customers rant but just to let them rant for the 30 seconds or however long they want to go for, then work with them, and not AT them to come to a solution.
I have taken away many useful tools, if someone shoots down what you feel is a valuable change, then find someone that will listen. Things can change, just because they have been done "this way" doesn't mean they are right, and can't be changed to make them better. When it comes to KPI's and the evaluation of the results, allow your team to rate your performance and empower them to feel comfortable to do so providing it is constructive. You a not the be all and end all and you are nothing without your team.
Larry I would like to thank you for everything that you have taught me in the time we have spent and whilst above is only a snap shot of some of the things we were taught, there was so much more that we took from your courses. Again thank you and I really hope that we get to see more and learn more from you.

"Just a quick note to thankyou for your presentation at Poolrite. I took alot out of my 5 hours in you sales course and have set realistic goals for the future.
Short term - goal was to introduce a daily to do list, weekly sales training, flyers for letterbox drops, note pads to leave behind, create an evidence manual, an agenda for sales presentations, 10 clever questions to start presentation and a new presentation format with 6 key points on a digital media rather then a flick book. I am pleased and proud to say I have already implemented all of these changes to the company and myself.
Medium term goa l- Increase sales and referral business by 50% in 6 months I believe this is more than achievable and going by last weekends results (3 contracts from 3 appointments) I am well on my way. I am also striving to achieve a slight change in attitude and culture within our company as positive people achieve positive results. I intend to do some sales training with our supervisors so they can upsell and make some more profit for themselves and the company. We are also going to start a quarterly team building exercise where as a group we go out 1 weekend each quarter to do something fun like fishing, golf or a camping trip. We are reviewing our marketing and looking to make some big changes in this area to better hit our target market.
Long term goal - This has not changed I intend to be the Director of the company within 3 years.
We have implemented a lot of what I took away from your seminar and I wish to thankyou for you fantastic course, I wish I had of stayed all day.
